Gday Guys and Girls

Post by desertbeachlife on Wed Jun 08, 2011 9:50 pm

G'day everyone

well i thought i better introduce myself, Names Paul.
and the dogs name is Smokie (Pure Bred Kelpie)

Im from Eucla WA which is 12km inside the border of SA/WA but originally from Coffs Harbour NSW

Well i drive a 2010 Nissan Navara that has the usuals - UHF, Dual Battery, HID Lightforce Spots, Codan HF and auto tune etc
Towing behind, is a Jayco Penguin Outback offroader, she has good clearance and a lot more easier to set up than my old camper trailer was, at the moment it has the usuals but also will be making some big changers shortly.

I camp out as much as i can, but being so lucky to live in one of the most remote locations in WA it is hard to find anything to compare..

The best camping and travelling experience i have had so far is the Anne Bedall Hwy i done back in 07 since i was paid to do it and also it is just a great trip all round....

I will have some pics up soon of my set up and look forward to meeting some people when they are travelling through my town.....

Paul

yes some people on this forum would know me as TurboGQ, which i have now parted with much regret but has its new home in Perth,,, Below is a pic.....

As i do miss my old patrol, there is nothing like a 145kw 2.5L turbo diesel to tow the camper with.... so i will be buying another patrol sometime when the right one comes up but until then,,, the navara is a great vehicle and comfortable to travel in.....
