Plastic storage boxes with lids

Post by Fugwurgin on Sun Jan 02, 2011 12:40 pm

Hi

I have a camper trailer and use large Stanley utility boxes from Supercheap for our clothes, kitchen stuff like plates, cuttlery & saucepans etc. Anyhow, they are great, tough and keep the dust out, BUT- the taper down the sides so we lose so much useable room.
Does anyone know where i could get some straight sided storage tubs with a good lid that are durable. ive looked around but could only find those cheap thin boxes with wheels. They would crack at the first sign of a corrugation.
I know they are designed with the taper for stackability, but you lose so much.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Cheers
Fugs

Check out Bunnings. 'Willow Mightytough' are pretty straight and they're thick. It was the best one I could find.

Hey fugs,
That was the better half, Vi, that replied. I got sick of looking but she thinks there were bigger sizes. Laughing I found the black tubs without lids were great for tools and stuff that didn't need to be dust proofed. cheers
